Delectable Dark Chocolate Fudge

Here at the Hart Center, we understand that moving towards a healthier diet can be very challenging. During the transition, people can crave many different things, and one of the common things seem to be sweet chocolatey desserts. Inspired by Navita’s Naturals Cacao Goji Power Snacks, we came up with a delicious fudge-like chocolate dessert. These are packed full of healthy antioxidants and satisfying chocolate. Give them a try to help curb those cravings!

Ingredients

6 dates
1 tbsp of chia seeds
1/2 c Raisins
1/2 c Goji Berries
2 tbsp Raw Cacao Powder
2 scoops Epic: Green Kingdom
2 tbsp Almond Butter

Soak the raisins and Goji Berries in warm water for 30 minutes. While you wait, you can start to prep the dates by removing the pits. If you have a food processor it is easiest to put all of the ingredients in and pulse until the desired consistency is achieved. However, if you do not have a food processor, you can chop the ingredients, and then mix in a bowl. You are trying to get a very thick almost dough-like paste. If the consistency is not smooth or thin enough you can add some of the goji berry and raisin soaking water. After mixing, simply form into a desired shape, and enjoy! We opted to sprinkle some cacao powder and matcha powder over the top to help them look extra pretty. These are delicious and taste like a rich dark fudge!
