Colored Light Therapy

What is it?
Colored Light Therapy is based on the theory that light stimulus of the optic nerve sends information to the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus helps to control physical and emotional well being.

How does it work?

Through stimulation of the hypothalamus, pituitary function regulation is stimulated, and therefore hormones can be effected.

What are the benefits?
Depending on the condition, light stimulation can assist in healing eye diseases, dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, chronic pain, head trauma, immune dysfunction, seasonal depression, relieve allergies, and assist in detox.

What is the procedure?
The patient sits in a dark room while the Colored Light Therapy machine goes through a series of colors. The procedure lasts approximately 20 minutes.
