Autonomic Response Testing (ART)
What is it?
ART stands for Autonomic Response Testing. It is a biofeedback enhanced physical exam. Different stressors are introduced to the body and the clinician assess responses.
How does it work?
Through the body responses to each stressor a clinician can interpret what will work best for an individual.
What are the benefits?
Insight to possible stressors in the body are found. Through the findings of the ART muscle testing, a clinician can suggest possible treatments.
What is the procedure?
The patient lays on a table while the clinician introduces stressors and asses muscle responses to each one. The procedure lasts an hour and a half.
